It has been brought to my attention that I haven't been giving my other nephew fair and balanced treatment. So here's Kyle!
In case you'd like to come visit, brilliant gathers every thursday night from 7:30 to 9:30. Free dinner starts at 7:30 and we're located at the southwest corner of Parker and Alma.
From 75,
* Exit Parker Rd. go west.
* Go through the Alma intersection and make the first left into the shopping strip on the left.
* You can't really see us from the road until it's too late, so make the turn and then look for us at the back of the shopping strip.
* Look for the brilliant. sign or Living Word Bible Fellowship
In case you're wondering what it looks like.

I want to introduce you to "brilliant."
It's a new ministry that we've been planning, dreaming, and praying about for these past few months.
We realized that there are a lot of people out there that would never step foot into a church or would never step foot into a church again. Even our friends who grew up in the church are becoming increasingly disillusioned by the church.
That's why we've felt led to start up brilliant.
The word "brilliant" captures the unique, transcendent, awe inspiringly beautiful mystery of God. God has demonstrated throughout history His love for people and His plan for redemption and more often than not, He enacts His will in a way we couldn't even dream of.
We want to be a part of His story and explore the mystery, beauty, and wonder of God.
brilliant. can be summed up in four words: engage, renew, struggle, and remember
We want to engage the community and culture that real people live in, not the Christian bubble we surround ourselves with. We want to engage our world with the beauty and story of Christ.
Our encouter with God leads to life change, renewal. Only God can take old, ugly, discarded, useless things, and breathe new life into them, giving them value.
We struggle together in community to authentically live out what it means to follow Christ. Not one of us has all the answers and not one of us really has our act together.
Finally, we remember the rich history and tradition of the church as countless godly men and women have struggled through the centuries to discover and embrace the wonder and mystery of God. We are in community with the diverse church today as well as in history.
So that's it. We're excited, and we're kicking off this Thursday @ 7:30. Please keep us and brilliant in your prayers.

Matt's post about the apple.tree on the liquid website sent me searching for this old pic.

Our dog thinks she can read (either that, or I put her chew toy on top of the books so I could get a picture of her standing on her hind legs).
